Using the Repeater in After Effects

Comments

Learn how to quickly create patterns using the repeater in After Effects.

When working with shape layers in After Effects, the repeater is a must-know feature. As the name implies, the repeater creates duplicates of your shape layer that can be manipulated and changed in a consistent pattern.

The following tutorial by Evan Abrams shows us how to use the repeater effect to create an awesome circle burst style animation. The tutorial covers:

  • Creating Shape Layers
  • Keyframing Shape Properties
  • Adding the Repeater
