Our Commitment
At Pond5, we’re passionate about creating world-class storytellers. We seek to enable storytellers from all walks of life to realize their creative vision. Further to our mission and as a part of our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, we’ve been proud to partner with incredible organizations that are working to help marginalized communities tell their stories.
Make the most of your donation on Giving Tuesday
The organizations below are all working tirelessly to provide arts education, funding, and support to diverse communities. We hope you’ll consider supporting them this Giving Tuesday.

IWPA (International Women in Photo Association)
IWPA’s mission is to promote gender equality and female empowerment in the photography industry. Hosting a prestigious annual prize, IWPA allows the winner to showcase her work globally and connect with invaluable industry partners. This year, as part of their Giving Tuesday efforts, IWPA will be supporting women photographers in low-income countries where the gender imbalance in the photography industry is even more pronounced. They’ll provide online training and diplomas to 30+ participants, helping them get their careers started on the right foot.
The world needs more female visual storytellers and photographers. Help support IWPA’s mission today and donate to their cause.

Mezcla Media Collective
We’ve recently partnered with Mezcla Media Collective, an organization driven by a meaningful mission and an incredible team. Supporting women and non-binary filmmakers of color in the Chicago area, Mezcla Media Collective provides resources that allow its creators to meet their full potential. Through their local community network, members are given the opportunity to enhance their craft and be part of Chicago’s bustling media production scene.
Check out Mezcla Media Collective’s GoFundMe annual campaign, which is running until December 15th.

NBAF (National Black Arts)
Based in the Atlanta area, NBAF provides stellar artistic and educational programs in music, dance, film, visual arts, theater, and the literary arts. As the oldest multidisciplinary arts organization in the United States supporting artists of African descent, NBAF artists have the opportunity to tell their stories through the support of their program. Pond5 was proud to support NBAF during our 2020 Juneteenth promotion. We also hosted their film and photography artists for a workshop about contributing content to stock media marketplaces like Pond5.

Queer|Art
Queer|Art’s mission is to connect and empower generations of LGBTQ+ artists – building a more diverse and vibrant future for all. Their cornerstone mentorship program and Practice, Presents and Awards programs support a community historically marginalized and overlooked by traditional support systems. Pond5 was proud to contribute to Queer|Art’s Flash Fund this past Juneteenth to support Black queer artists within their mentorship program.

Second Chance Studios
Formerly-incarcerated individuals have faced considerable challenges in finding employment that allows them to thrive and avoid recidivism. Second Chance Studios combats the system by training and employing their fellows in the digital media space. Now is an exciting time to get involved with Second Chance Studios, as their first fellowship program began this Fall. Pond5 was proud to support this incredible organization during our 2021 Juneteenth promotion and connect them with organizations that will help create project and employment opportunities.
